Event Description
In memory of Michael Walsdorf, The Columbus State Cougar Challenge is hosting the 8th annual 5k run/walk event sponsored by the Staff Advisory Council of Columbus State. This event supports book scholarships for Columbus State Community College students. Each year, the Staff Advisory Council of Columbus State has been able to increase the total number of book sponsorships provided to CSCC students from race registrations like yours.
The cost of books is a significant and often overlooked cost of attending college. While every effort is made to provide students affordable options, sometimes there is no way around the costs of up to date, high quality textbooks. Your participation and support of this race will help us to endow book scholarships so all students can “cross the finish line” of their education.

The Course
The new course we used last year allowed us to open up registration to more individuals. We are going to again be using this paved course on the Columbus State Community College-Delaware campus.

1. Team Captain will create the team
2. The team captain will then share the team name with friends

3. Team members join the team individually

Race Day Packet Pickup
- Saturday, May 4 (8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.)
Race Day registrations will be available as long as the race has not sold out.

- For safety purposes, only service animals are allowed at our events. A service animal is a working animal, not a pet.
