Event Description
Moo've it with family and friends at the Chick-fil-A Run for the Kids 5K/10K in Port Charlotte, FL on March 30, 2019. Proceeds from the race will benefit two local organizations, WinShape Camps and Crossroads Hope Academy.
WinShape Camps for Communities is a day camp that provides a professionally trained staff to create the most fun and meaningful camp for completed Kindergarten through 8th graders in Port Charlotte. WinShape Camps for Communities partners with local churches and the Chick-fil-A Port Charlotte to provide an exciting camp experience for campers right here in the community.
Whether your kids like soccer or science, there is something for everyone. WinShape Camps for Communities combines sports, recreation, arts, Bible study and worship into one unforgettable week!
Crossroads Hope Academy is a non-profit home and charter school for foster boys who have had multiple failed placements in the Florida foster care system. Crossroads specializes in these cases with boys between 12 and 18 years of age. Crossroads became a full-time foster program in 2013 because no child chooses to become a foster kid. These kids need guidance, support, and love – and they find this at Crossroads – and from you, our community.
