Event Description
The Racing Gnome 5k & 10k snowshoe races are never boring. Peter Fain’s classic 5km and 10km (two lap) courses will surprise and challenge all who enter. All experience levels are encouraged to race. Snowshoes are required for all participants. We highly recommend running-specific snowshoes.
The 2019 Racing Gnome will be hosted at Auburn Ski Club. Donner Summit is notorious for exciting weather conditions. If we need to cancel for snow, lack of snow, road closure, or other weather-related issues, then we will move your registration to the following year. WE CANNOT OFFER REFUNDS FOR A WEATHER-RELATED CANCELLATION.
- Youth ages 10 - 17 are welcome for either race at just $10 each. Pricing will be applied at checkout.
- Auburn Ski Club Passholders receive a $10 discount. You MUST bring your pass on race day.
- Donner Party Mountain Runners members receive a $10 discount. Join or renew today!
