Event Description

Sign up to participate in the third annual 5K run and 1 mile walk for brain injury awareness! The event is Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Fred Beekman Park starting with registration / check-in at 9:00 am. Sign up by March 8 to receive light refreshments and a t-shirt. Prizes will be awarded to the top runners and top fundraisers! We will also have some exciting giveaways throughout the event! Participants are encouraged to wear green, the color for brain injury awareness month! Proceeds benefit the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center for brain injury treatment and support. This event is hosted by Buckeyes Raising Awareness in Neuroscience. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Race Day Schedule:

9:00 am - Check-in at the tables near the Volleyball Shelter at Fred Beekman Park. Please check-in at least 30 minutes before your event.

9:45 am - Guest Speakers

10:15 am - 1 Mile Walk Begins (The 1 mile walk will be approximately one loop around the jogging path.)

11:00 am - 5K Run Begins (The 5K will be approximately three loops around the jogging path, and it will be hand-timed.)

After the Run – Prizes will be awarded to first, second, and third place runners in the 5K. Prizes will also be awarded to our top fundraisers! Light refreshments will be provided. Everyone can participate in volleyball and basketball games.
