Event Description

Come join us on November 28th to kick off your Thanksgiving! See old friends and make new ones. Runners and race walkers from all over the community are welcome to come out and participate in the 2019 Holiday 5000 Thanksgiving Day Run. Whether you are a competitive runner, mid-pack runner, jogger or walker, everyone has a good time

Celebrate with your kids or running family with our FREE bounce houses, and refreshments. Come to run and stay for the fun!

STARTING TIMES 

  • Half-Marathon (13.1 miles) - 7:20 AM
  • 1 Mile Fun Run & Walk - 7:30 AM
  • 10K (6.2 miles) - 7:50 AM
  • 5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles) - 8:00 AM 

RACE DAY PACKET PICKUP BEGINS AT 6:00 AM AT RACE SITE

  • 1 Mile Fun Run & Walk (All Ages Welcome): $20
  • 5K Run/ Walk: $25
  • 10K: $30
  • Half-Marathon: $55

(Online by November 27th or at Packet Pickup)

  • 5K Run/ Walk: $30
  • 10K: $35
  • Half-Marathon: $60

(Race Day)

  • 1 Mile Fun Run & Walk (All Ages Welcome): $30

  • Half-Marathon: $65

All registered participants will receive a long-sleeve polyester performance event shirt. All kids 12 & under can participant in the fun run for FREE. However, each kid must be a paying participant to receive an event shirt. Kid sizes will be limited, so please make sure you preregister your child early to be guaranteed an event shirt.

 

All participants in the Half Marathon 10K, & 5K will receive 4-Inch Custom Finishers Medals.  Races shirts are Technical Fabric.  (NOTE: Race shirts are Men's/Unisex sized and size selections & availability are only guaranteed for pre-registered participants.)

** This year's event is capped at 2,500 participants! **

A Virtual Runner option has been added to this year's event. This option will close on November 19th. All shirts and finisher medals will be mailed out the following day to ensure you receive your medal and shirt by Thanksgiving Day.
 
After November 19th we will not accept any additional entries for the Virtual Runner Option nor will we be able to switch any participant to a Virtual Participant  that registered for the actual event (1 Mile, 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon) after November 19th. There will be NO Exceptions nor Reunds.
 
All registered participants must pick up their packets at packet pick-up or on race day to receive your shirt and bib. We will not mail any packets that have not been picked up by race day.

Overall Male & Female; Overall Master Male and Female;  Runners 12 & Under; 13-15; 16-18; 19-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80 & Over

AWARDS ARE AWARDED THREE DEEP IN EACH AGE GROUP FOR THE 5K, 10K, AND HALF-MARATHON 

ALL FINISHERS IN THE HALF MARATHON, 10K, & 5K WILL RECEIVE FINISHER MEDALS

RESULTS WILL BE CHIP-TIMED BY COX RACING SERVICES
