Event Description

The Samantha's Purpose Run, Walk & Stroll for Cerebral Palsy 2K is once again being sponsored and hosted by The Village of Palmetto Bay at the breathtaking Coral Reef Park.  This fun event is in it's 5th year, having been started by Samantha's Purpose (a/k/a Voices for Cerebral Palsy) in 2015.

This annual event takes place during Cerebral Palsy Awareness Month and spreads the word about Cerebral Palsy and gets everyone ready for Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day (which takes place on March 25th).

This AMAZING event will begin with the run, walk and stroll, followed by an opportunity for participants to enjoy the Kids Activity Area and visit various resource vendors that will be onsite. There will also be a variety of delicious food and beverages for all to enjoy that will be served by the participating food trucks and vendors.

Make sure you visit the VILLAGE OF PALMETTO BAY WEBSITE for event details.  Race registration includes a commemorative t-shirt and a participation medal (while supplies last).

Samantha's Purpose (a/k/a Voices for Cerebral Palsy) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that was co-founded by Manny & Michelle Garcia to honor their daughter Samantha, who lives with Cerebral Palsy.  The primary mission of this organization is to increase awareness and understanding of Cerebral Palsy; while bringing families, community members and children of all abilities together to give back to the Cerebral Palsy community, while raising funds to purchase powered height adjustable, adult changing table for a Family Restroom, making the restroom MORE accessible for individuals with disabilities and self-care issues. This will be the FIRST Universal Changing Places restroom in South Florida!
