Event Description

Not many races can claim a 38 year history like Ohio Valley Hospital and Kennedy Township's community race. Each year, we see competitive runners and families alike complete our hilly 5K course.

It's a community tradition that has changed from a 10K and bike race to a 5K; drawing a few hundred participants every year. We hope you'll become part of our history by signing up for 2019.

The race is open to runners and walkers (dogs on a leash and strollers are welcome to try out the course, as well).

Event details and schedule

The OVH and Kennedy Township race kicks off from the Hospital's main entrance at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 11th 2019. Our DJ plays you off onto the hilly course, and you're welcomed back with an awards ceremony and breakfast spread!

Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female, regardless of age, who cross the finish line.

Packet Pick-Up will take place at Robinson EMS on Thursday, May 9th and Friday, May 10th from 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. Their address is 998 Church Hill Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15205; they are located next to the Robinson library and behind the Robinson police station.
