Event Description
Join us for this family friendly youth duathlon at the beautiful Hopeville State Park in Griswold, CT. Youth participants ages 5-17 will run, bike, and run on the roads and trails inside the park. PLEASE NOTE- Races time is 9AM! All biking will be done on paved roads. Medals to all finishers. T-shirts for all participants pre-registered by April 24 and food at the finish for all race families. Trophies will be given out to the top three finishers in each age division. Divisions are 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12,13-14, 15-17, and Supersprint for ages 11-17. Registration deadline for getting your name on the bib is April 24. Registration closes online on May 9 at midnight. Limited registration race day 7:30-8:00 AM only. This race can be done individually OR as part of the New England Cup Race Challenge which involves participants completing 3 multi-sport races in 2019.
New England Cup Race Challenge- Participants must complete all three races to receive their award at the last race AND chose the New England Cup option during registration. This option will open up for registration in January after the Lincoln permit is secured.
