Event Description

Dear Child Advocate,

We invite you to join us in supporting our fifth annual "Stronger Families Safer Kids 5K run/walk. " As the Designated Child Abuse Prevention Council of Ventura County, our 5K promotes our mission of creating safe, healthy peaceful families.  The Partnership is a collaborative non-profit organization with over 20 years of experience providing interagency coordination, networking, advocacy, public awareness & education to prevent child abuse, neglect and family violence across the lifespan.

Our 5K event is on Saturday, May 4, 2019, at the oceanfront Oxnard State Park/ Mandalay Beach 1601 S. Harbor Blvd. Oxnard, CA 93035. We will be running/walking along the beachside path, noted as one of the top ten beaches in Ventura County.

Your support will make this event a success, and you will be joining hundreds of community members dedicated to keeping children safe. 

Event details and schedule

Registration will begin at 8:00am

The childrens 1k will begin at 9:00am

The 5k race will begin promptly at 9:15am

Check in, registration, Parking will be available at Oxnard Beach Park-Mandalay Beach at

1601 S Harbor Blvd, Oxnard, CA 93035
