KILTED 5K RACE AND FUN WALK
The Kilted 5k run and walk to benefit the F.I.S.H. Food Pantry & Friends of the Fox River.

First 300 receive a kilt and a logo pint glass, a cold beverage and breakfast buffet.

DATE:
Saturday, March 14, 2020

RACE START TIME:
5k Run & Walk at 8:00 AM (New Time! 1/2 hour earlier this year)

LOCATION:
Start/Finish Area - Lifeline Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, 296 Williams Place, East Dundee, IL 60118.The race route is a straight out and back on the Fox River Trail path.

ENTRY FEES:
*5K Run/Walk: $40 - Includes kilt, breakfast buffet, commemorative glass, one beer (for those participants 21+)

Any registration ON or AFTER Wednesday March 11, 2020, The fee will go up to $45

PACKET PICKUP:
Packets for pre-registered runners will be available for pickup from on Friday, March 13, 10:00AM – 4:00PM at Lifeline Plumbing, Heating & Cooling, 296 Williams Place, East Dundee, IL 60118 and 6:30 AM – 7:45 AM on Race Day at the
start/finish area.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION:
6:30 AM to 7:45 AM at the registration area near the start/finish line.

AWARDS:
Award divisions for the 5K race will be as follows: Age 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over, male & female.
Overall winners will be excluded from age group awards.
Awards will be presented to the top THREE finishers in each age division, and the top overall male and female finishers. The best costumes will also receive awards.  Awards will be presented at the post race party which will be held at “Bandito Barney’s” @ 10 N. River Road, East Dundee, IL immediately after the race.

COSTUME CONTEST:
Let your inner leprechaun loose. Whether you’re running, walking, or volunteering…..everyone dressed in a fun costume will be eligible to win best costume honors.

REFRESHMENTS:
Fresh fruit, beverages, and an assortment of refreshments will be available following the race.

POST RACE PARTY & COSTUME CONTEST:
Enjoy cold beverages, cheer on the award winners, and strut your stuff in the Kilted 5k Costume Contest at the post race party which will be held at Bandito Barney’s @ 10 N. River Road, East Dundee, IL.

PARKING:
Convenient, free parking is available at Haeger Potteries at 7 Maiden Ln, East Dundee & Immanuel Lutheran 310 E. Main Street, East Dundee.
