Event Description
Dress up as your favorite superhero and get ready to run, walk, fly, leap, bound...or hop to the finish line! Bunny ears are not required but are encouraged. The proceeds from this event will go to Prevent Child Abuse Utah in Ogden and raise awareness for their "Pinwheels for Prevention" campaign.

This event will be something fun for the whole family and we will have prizes for the top finishers in each age group. All participants will receive some sort of fun souvenir at the finish line as well as some tasty treats. The race will be supported with an aid station at the midpoint that has water and whatever goodies we can coax out of sponsors and donors come race day. (Note: If you are interested in becoming a sponsor or know someone who would be, please contact us)! We will also have volunteers stationed throughout the course and medical support at the finish line. As we anticipate a smaller race, we will hand time the finish results using one race clock and a mass start time (no chip times). By participating in the race, you also agree to have video footage or photos of you taken at the finish line to ensure timing accuracy. You will receive any digital copies of photos and we won't publish them anywhere without your permission.
Location TBA, in Ogden Utah (We are working on a few options including a school track or parks). Once the venue is in place we will send out an email update. You will also receive another email prior to the event with any last minute details.
*The distance for the kids run will be determined by where the race ends up being held and what is the safest route.
Schedule:
8:00 a.m. - packet pickup/check in
9:00 a.m. - 5k start
10:15 a.m. - kids run start
11:00 a.m. - finish line festivities & awards
Some Rules/additional info: We want everyone to be safe and have a good time. Please be respectful of others and remember this is a family friendly event. Anyone under age 12 competing in the 5k must be accompanied by a registered parent or guardian on the course. Bib numbers/registrations are non-transferable. Wheelchair athletes and runners with strollers are welcome, we just ask that you be mindful of other runners around you. Sorry, no dogs are allowed on the course. Disclaimer: In the event of severe weather or any other unforeseen circumstances where the race needs to be canceled, your registration will be refunded. However you still have the choice to give Prevent Child Abuse Utah your registration fee as a donation. We cannot refund the processing fee that goes to Runsignup. Your feedback is always welcomed to improve the event for next year as we are a volunteer staff putting on this race for the first time.
