Event Description

Team LongMetal, Longmeadow High School's competitive robotics team, will host The 1st Annual Sir LanceBot RoboRace 5k run & 2k walk. Proceeds from the event will go to help fund Team LongMetal's competitive robotics program and STEM outreach in the Longmeadow community.

Sir LanceBot is the mascot and first robot for Team LongMetal. In just one year of competition, LanceBot has led the team to New England District Championships and earned the team a trip to The World Championships. But he’s taken a beating and we need your support to keep him and the team moving. Come on out and help us #SaveLanceBot.

Join us for a fun-filled day of robots and racing! You can come and meet our robot Sir LanceBot and learn about our team. Awards to be given to top runners and best robot outfit – so be sure to show us your team spirit. Please come and support LongMetal robotics.
