Celebrate fall with an early morning run/walk along the shore of Lake Monroe and through the historic streets of downtown Sanford. Proceeds help fund Crooms Academy of Information Technology's athletic programs and scholarships for student athletes.

The Fort Mellon Park Riverfront is BACK for use in the 2018 event! (if we don't have another hurricane)
This is a chip timed event using disposable bib chips.

Proceeds of the event will benefit Crooms Academy Athletic programs and scholarships.
T shirts will be guaranteed to the first 250 participants. Please plan to stay and join us for the post race celebration at Fort Mellon Park with drinks and other refreshments.
Awards will be presented to the top male and female overall finisher, first place Masters (40 and over) male and female, Top Croomie Boy and Girl, and top THREE male / female in the following age groups:
13 and Under, 14 - 16, 17 - 19, 20 -24, 25 - 29, 30 - 34, 35 - 39, 40 - 44, 45 - 49, 50 - 54, 55 - 59, 60 - 64, 65 - 69, 70 and Over

Race Day Schedule
6 AM race day registration and packet pick up opens
7:30 AM Start of the 5K
8:30 AM Kids Dash 100 yards
8:45 AM Awards ceremony

Pre Race Packet Pick up will be held at Crooms Academy, 2200 Historic Goldsboro Ave, on Friday Oct 12, 2018 from 12 noon to 7pm. 

Race Entry Fees:
5K 18 and Under Student  $15
5K Adult $20 until Aug 18 midnight, $25 until Sept 15 at midnight.  $30 from until Oct 12 at 9am
5K Race Day $35
Kid Dash is FREE to those 12 and Under!
