Event Description
This race is a 1 mile Fun Run, as well as, a 5K for the more enthusiastic runner. It is held in Melstone, MT and this year will be a benefit run for JR & Shelby Vezian. JR was injured in a bronc riding accident in Texas last September. The proceeds from this benefit will help with medical cost and transportation costs for physical therapy. Help us get this cowboy back on his feet again!
Registration Fees: Includes a T-shirt signed by JR Vezain and post-race taco bar supper.
For the serious athlete: $35.00
- A 5K competitive timed run will award the top two places in the men's, women's, and youth division.
- Youth 12 and under $12.00
For the less serious athlete:$35.00
- A 1 mile Fun Run will encourage you to boast your most authentic costume. The theme this year is "Rodeo Life"
- A horse drawn wagon will be available to any runner who would rather ride! This is available for the 1 mile Fun Run only.
- Feel free to bring your strollers, wagons, or cooler on wheels!
- Youth 12 & under -$12.00
Youth under 5 are Free!
Virtual runners -$25.00
- For those who would like to participate and help support JR and Shelby, but are not able to make the event...You can register as a virtual runner; and still receive your autographed T-shirt.
Taco bar supper is available to everyone so bring your whole family!
- The cost for the taco bar supper only is $10.00
*shirts will be given to late registrants on a first-come, first-served basis.
Both races will start at 7:30 PM.
Packet Pick-Up
Packet pick-up will take place on Friday, June 14th from 5:30PM-7:30PM at the Melstone Community Center (500. Fergus St, Melstone, MT 59054).
