Event Description
Running2Rescue was created in response to gaining an understanding of the sex trafficking epidemic happening in our world today. We want to be part of the solution and restore hope and freedom to the young girls of this generation. Running2Rescue is presented by OneVoiceHome, a home that will eventually house minors coming out of sex trafficking. This home will serve as a long term placement for girls to receive steps towards healing.
So, what is Running2Rescue and how does a race help this cause?
It’s a foot race.
It's a festival.
It’s a fundraiser.
It’s a tool to raise awareness about human trafficking.
All proceeds of the race benefit OneVo!ceHome and will provide these precious girls a new beginning at life.
We can’t do it without you!
Event details and schedule
- Registration begins at 7:30AM
- Race Activities begin at 8:30AM
- Packet pick-up will be avaialble at 10507 Quaker Avenue Tuesday and Thursday from 10AM-2PM 2 weeks before the event. We will also have some evening opportunities, keep an eye on social media via OneVoiceHome!
- The 5K is a normal 5K, the Fun Run is 1.2 miles

DIRECTIONS TO RACE/FESTIVAL
Coming North on I-27 - US87
Take Exit 3A (Broadway/13th).
Then follow the bend on the access road and keep to the right.
At light, turn right onto Ave E - head North for one block to Broadway.
Turn right on Broadway. Continue straight under the bridge.
Go through the light at Avenue A.
Look for signs into South Plains Fairgrounds Parking Lot.
Coming South on I-27 – US 87
Take Exit 4 (Crosbyton exit).
Proceed to second light and make a left at Marsha Sharp.
Go through the NB I-27 light.
Look for signs into South Plains Fairgrounds Parking Lot.
