Event Description

Join us on Saturday, April 13th 2019 for our 8th annual Tails & Trails 5K Run/2K Walk at Pickering Meade Farm, home of Main Line Animal Rescue! Registration begins at 7:30AM and the race begins promptly at 9:00AM.

Enjoy a perfect morning with your family and friends, all while raising the much-needed funds to support MLAR and the PSPCA's lifesaving programs and services. The cross-country style course traverses rolling hills and offers sprawling views of the farm, countryside, and spring foliage. All family members, including those who are four-legged and furry are encouraged to attend. 

100% of the proceeds and funds raised benefit Main Line Animal Rescue. MLAR specializes in the rescue and placement of abused, unwanted, and abandoned pets regardless of health, age, or breed. MLAR has never charged an adoption fee or received federal or state funding. By involving and educating the community, Main Line Animal Rescue works to raise the public's awareness of the plight of homeless animals as well as realizing the benefits of adopting an animal in need.

Child-friendly dogs and dog-friendly children encouraged to attend. All runners and walkers are welcome to race with their owned dogs. All dogs must be leashed (no flexi-leads please). Children under 6 may attend for free.

Online registration will close Friday, April 12th, 2019, but day-of registration will be available at the event.
