Event Description

The Epsilon Lambda chapter of Alpha Chi Omega at the University of Texas at Arlington invites you to participate in our Annual 5K Run/Walk fundraising event to raise awareness for Domestic Violence. This year will be a purple color run called “Paint the Campus Purple" and will be located on the UTA campus. Proceeds from this event will go to SafeHaven of Tarrant County Women's Shelter and the Alpha Chi Omega Foundation. 

 

We encourage participators to come with the whole family (including leashed dogs). If you know someone affected by Domestic Violence, we would love for you to decorate shirts, signs, or other items for us to display at the event.

Event details and schedule

Packet pick-up 9am day of the event. Please bring the completed waiver to the race. 

Parking: UTA lot 30 next to Tennis Courts and the West Parking Garage next to the Maverick Activites Center (MAC)

We want to ensure you have an exceptional parking experience while on campus. Please enter your vehicle information in the link below to obtain a parking e-permit for your vehicle to park on campus during your event. This will give your vehicle access to park in the designated lot noted on the link's event page.  Any vehicle parked on campus without an e-permit will receive a citation.
For visitors using a rental car: You can register your vehicle after parking on campus.  Once parked, reference your rented vehicle’s license plate number and then enter it into the link below.
You may park in any space not marked as reserved, service vehicle, blocked by cones, or an ADA space without the proper permit. This permit is valid only for the date and times of your event. If you have any comments or concerns, please contact us at parking@uta.edu or (817) 272 – 3907.
