Event Description
Aaron Ross
A 2009 Tulia High School graduate, died October 16, 2011. His love for biking inspired this scholar-ship bike ride. Aaron, born August 27, 1991, was attending Wayland Baptist University when, on a training ride, was struck by a vehicle and met his untimely demise. While we have mourned his premature death, we celebrate his life with this ride and honor his memory with this scholarship. By joining in an activity that he loved, we remember Aaron and forever hold in our hearts the memories that we shared with him.
A total of 16 scholarships have been awarded in the 8 years. The event is hosted by the community of Tulia and Kress with frendly rest stops and great food.
