Event Description
Our 5K Chip Timed Run (or walk) and new 3k Fitness Walk on Mother’s Day begins and ends at Milford Hospital. You can RUN or WALK the entire 5k if you want and be timed- or walk 3k (1.8mi) & not be timed. (You can even let us know your choice on race day if you decide to walk the shorter distance).
The courses are flat and have VERY scenic views as you run past Long Island Sound. The 3.1mi route is accurately measured, all mile splits are marked, and there is one water stop.
We have great shirts, plenty of food, very generous younger age and older age group awards for the 5K (including 90+). This year we will also have mom/daughter & mom/son teams AND a FREE, 1/10 mi "Little Docs" Kids Fun Run prior to the 5K. We invite all levels of participants to enjoy a great start to Mothers day!
