Event Description
The Rotary Run, Hinsdale's Family Run, has something for every member of your family! This year features lower price, a discounted family fee and races for every member of your family! On Sunday, October 5, 2019 you can participate in any of our race events:
• Morgan Stanley 10K Run (8:30am start)
• Rooney 5K Run (8:45am start)
• Hinsdale Bank & Trust 3K Run (8:50am)
• Molex 5K walk (8:55am start)
Napleton 3K Walk (8:55am start)
• The Birches Walk 'n Roll (9:30am start)
Mutt Strut Dog Walk (8:55am start)
After you race, stay for the food, awards and the School District 181 Mascot Race!
Each event winds through the historic streets of Hinsdale and beautiful surrounding neighborhoods. All events begin and end at The Community House, located at 415 West Eighth Street, Hinsdale. During and after the race there is a morning of fun, activities and an awards ceremony. All events are held, rain or shine! Save $5 if you register before June 1!
The event benefits the international causes of Rotary, a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who come together to make positive, lasting changes in communities at home and abroad. Our 35,000+ clubs work together to : promote peace; fight disease, including Polio; provide clean water, sanitation, and hygiene; save mothers and children; support education; and grow local economies.
The race also supports the Rotary Club of Hinsdale Foundation, which offers local scholarships and financial support of the mission of these amazing community organizations who have a daily positive impact on the lives within those in the western suburbs of Chicago:
