Event Description

The 3rd Annual River of Roses is a remembrance event to celebrate the memory of Little Joys – babies who passed during pregnancy or in their first year of life. This event, hosted by the Little Joys Remembrance Foundation, celebrates these special babies, brings awareness to child loss, and also supports the Little Joys Remembrance Foundation’s mission of placing a CuddleCot in every Idaho hospital. A Cuddlecot is a cooling device that slows the physical changes of an infant after they have passed, allowing the family and loved ones more time to say their goodbyes.

River of Roses provides an opportunity to celebrate each and every Little Joy so bring your family, friends, co-workers, and any associates who are willing to make a difference in the lives of those touched by pregnancy and infant loss. 

Price: $30/person

• Register for ONLY $20 by Monday, March 18th at 11:59pm
• Price increases to $30 after that

• Rose (pink, blue, or white)
• Event T-shirt
• Swag Bag
• Food and drinks
• Kid friendly activities

FREE for kids 16 and under. Youth t-shirts available to add-on for $15.00/each.

We will gather at the Old Timer Shelter in Ann Morrison Park in Boise, Idaho. From there, you can choose to walk over to the footbridge and release your rose OR you can walk the 5k along the Greenbelt and see the names of all the babies we are celebrating on this day. If you choose to do the 5k, you will release your rose at the end of the walk. 

Participants are encouraged to build a team and fundraise. Prizes available to the following teams:

• Team who raises the most
• Team with the most individual donors
• Team with the most team members
