Event Description

More than just a race, the Glens Falls Hospital -  Aloha Family 5K and 1 Mile Fun Walk brings together the community to support Amanda's House at Glens Falls Hospital.  This temporary home away from home is for patients and their families who have to travel for treatment at Glens Falls Hospital. Amanda's House is supported by generous community donations and families are never charged for their stay.  To help keep Amanda's House the wonderful community resource that it is, please join us on Saturday, June 8!

Rain or shine, Glens Falls Hospital invites you to this fun and festive family friendly race will kick-off from the Pavilion at Haviland's Cove Park in Glens Falls and run along the beautiful and historic Feeder Canal.  Be inspired by beach tunes as you walk or run the off-street course and welcome in Summer.  Stick around for the awards celebration afterwards with music, kids activities, photo opportunities, refreshments and more. 

Come dressed ready to Hula in your best Hawaiian gear!

Runners/walkers can expect a grassy field, hard packed gravel as well as a flat paved course.

Jogging strollers are welcome but please be mindful of runners around you.  Please no dogs on the Feeder Canal during the race.

Registration: Starting at 7:00 am at Haviland's Cove
5k Race/Walk:  9:00 am 
1 Mile Walk: 9:15 am

Post race awards and refreshments immediately following race

All registered participants are guaranteed an athletic race tee-shirt if registered before May 31, 2019.  If registered after May 31, 2019, race shirts are not guaranteed but we'll try!  

Awards handed out to the overall top three male and female finishers.

All children 13 and under will receive a participation medal.
