Did you grow up going to school every day? Waking up early, putting on your clothes or uniform, and getting on a bus with all your friends? You headed to school and you went through your day, class after class, lesson after lesson. Some days we dreaded it, didn't we? Now think about this - there are children all over the world that are not getting a quality education. They may walk miles to school, hoping their teacher will show up to give them an education that day. Even children who go to school every day will most likely drop out before high school. It makes us grateful for what we have - but is there anything we can do to help?

Fortunately- THERE IS! Threads for Education is a clothing company whose mission is to provide students worldwide with access to quality education. 50% of our profits go towards global education projects! Currently we are donating to a nonprofit organization, The Godfred's Foundation, that has built a revolutionary school in the small village of Senase, Ghana. Over the summer, a group of volunteers traveled to Ghana to visit and contribute to the school with the education we have received in the United States. Now, it's time for EVERYONE to be able to contribute!

The 1st annual "Treads for Education" offers a 5k run/walk, along with a kid’s Fun Run! Everyone will be able to enjoy this special event, while also raising money for our great friends in Senase, Ghana. Whether you are a race expert, or you just want to walk a few miles to support, come join us for some friends and fun! There will be food and awards after the race, along with some raffles! We are looking forward to an amazing day!
