The 3rd Annual Ringer Run benefits suicide prevention and mental health awareness.

Lots of changes this year so hold on to your seats!  A 5k summer race on a Thursday evening at 7 p.m. in Chester Springs with a virtual race option???  What????  Same purpose, new venue, more fun.

Join us Thursday, June 13 2019 at 7 pm in Chester Springs for a 5k run/walk on the Byers Station Path.  The run follows a scenic but challenging paved path through a bit of woods, wetlands, a tunnel, (even has a covered bridge!) but mostly in a local neighborhood. 

All proceeds support local mental health awareness and suicide prevention programs as well as the Joseph J. Ringhoffer Memorial Fund, which was created in memory of a local fallen friend, and which supports the Penn State Student Affairs Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS).  Click here for more information.  

After the race, we expect to have local business participation (restaurants, bars, etc.) so stay tuned for more details.

What’s a Virtual Run? Can't run with us because you live in California, Greenland or Madagascar - but want to support an important cause? No problem - sign up for the virtual race and run anywhere (your spring break, summer vacation, or around your yard 150 times) before the race finishes. Then email your finish photo with a snapshot of your time/distance to virtualringerrunner@gmail.com. We’ll mail your T-Shirt and medal after the race closes.
