Event Description
Main Line Animal Rescue’s 4th Annual Gran Fondo Cycling Event presented by Audi West Chester is gearing up to hit the country roads of Chester County on Saturday, October 5, 2019. This renown cycling event provides the community with a great day at the farm, bringing together cyclists of all skill levels and their families from near and far to enjoy a picturesque ride through the Chester County countryside. The ride starts and finishes at Pickering Meade Farm and concludes with a fabulous after-party featuring a beer garden, food, raffles, awards ceremony, a live band, adoptable animals, and more. Well-stocked rest stops and cheering squads make this ride an unforgettable experience. Participants get to choose from four exciting rides, each of which feature a timed climb.
Order your official Gran Fondo 2019 cycling jersey by Monday, August 12th in order to receive it in time for the ride! Design to be determined, so check back often for photos!

THE RIDES:
100K: (approximately 62 miles) Intermediate to advanced riders with four timed climbs; offers 4,403 feet of climb.
50K: (approximately 31 miles) Intermediate to advanced riders with two timed climbs; offers 2,012 feet of climb.
40K: (approximately 25 miles) Recreational to intermediate riders with two timed climbs; offers 1, 683 feet of climb.
15K: (approximately 9 miles) Recreational riders with one timed climb; offers 730 feet of climb.
REGISTRATION:
Registration Fee: $85.00 until September 16th (includes free long-sleeved t-shirt).
Registration Fee September 16th to October 2nd: $95.00
Registration Fee October 3rd to October 5th: $105.00 (day-of registration is permitted)
After-Party-Only Ticket: $25.00, Children 12 and under are free (all ride registrations include After-Party Ticket)
Custom, Limited Edition Cycling Jersey: $85.00 (Order by August 12th to receive yours in time for the Gran Fondo)
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
Main Line Animal Rescue has never charged an adoption fee and receives no state or federal funding. All proceeds from the Gran Fondo Cycling Event go directly to the rescue and rehabilitation of abused, unwanted, and abandoned animals.
