Event Description

Celebrate summer with a run along the shore in summer! The 10K run and 5K walk feature breathtaking scenery along the Chatham coastline and rolling, paved roads. Post time for both events is 11AM. **NOTE THE NEW START TIME **

This is a USA T&F sanctioned event on a certified 10K course. Sponsored by the Chatham Squire, Chatham Ford, Cape Cod Chronicle and sealaw.org and administered by the Cape Cod Athletic Club (http://www.capecodathleticclub.org/), all proceeds go to benefit the Monomoy Scholarship Fund. Trophies will be awarded to the first overall male and female, the first Chatham residents, the first finisher in 10 year age groups in the 10K, and the first finisher in 10 year age groups in the 5K walk. T-shirts may be purchased on race day as long as supplies last and will be available starting at 10:00am. The race starts about 2/10 mile from the school promptly at noon.

After awards are handed out in the school gym, the post-race party will commence at the Chatham Squire at 487 Main Street.

Start Time: 11:00am on June 30th
Number pickup and day-of-race registration open at 9:00AM.
Location: Monomoy Regional Middle School (formerly Chatham Jr. Sr. High School)
             425 Crowell Road, Chatham, MA
Parking: Parking is available next to and behind the school and behind the tennis courts. Please avoid parking on Crowell Road along the race course.
