Event Description

Union Fire Association of Bala Cynwyd and Merion and Belmont Hills Fire Company are excited to announce the first "Two Alarm 5K". Proceeds from this event will be used to ensure the safety of our volunteer firefighters and the community they protect. Both fire companies have been faithfully serving Lower Merion Township for over a century. To this day, most of the firefighters at these companies are volunteers, and the companies themselves are sustained by the generosity of the community. Recent cost increases mean that tax dollars only cover a fraction of what is needed. We cordially invite you to support this event by competing in the Two Alarm 5K. Your support is critical for maintaining operational standards and ensuring the safety of our community.

This 5K is a point-to-point race starting at Belmont Hills Fire Company in Belmont Hills and ending at Union Fire Association in Bala Cynwyd.  There will be a shuttle back to the start at Belmont Hills Fire Company.
