Event Description

​On Sunday, May 19, 2019, join Johlley Runners as we celebrate the birth, life & legacy of our great ancestor Malcolm X. The 10K group run will start and finish at the Malcolm X Park located at 52nd and Pine streets. The route will take us through several West Philadelphia neighborhoods.  You can also register at here to be a part of the free event and not receive  a medal.  Custom designed Malcolm X 10K medal commemorating the day and event can be purchased at johlleyrunners.com see link above.  And if you can’t join the group run, you can run your 10K wherever you are in the world to earn that medal. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Friends of Malcolm X Park.  We ask that you register whether you purchase a medal or not to ensure we have enough post-run snacks and drinks for all to enjoy.
