WELCOME TO THE FIRST EDITION of the PARK CITY CLASSIC 5K and 5 Mile run & walk
Our new name reflects the nick-name of our city. Bridgeport was dubbed the Park City because of the many parks it has inside its borders. You will be running through one of the most well known- Seaside Park- on the 5k and 5 mile courses.
On this same weekend 15 years ago we started as the Bridgeport Hospital Homerun 5K. The last three years it was the Aquarion/Barnum Festival 10k & 5k.
Please note- the start time of the 5K & 5 mile events has been changed to 9 am.
We want to thank our new sponsors in helping us to keep this event going- and thank you for running in our city.

AMR Ambulance Service in Bridgeport, CT provides emergency medical services to the residents and visitors of Bridgeport and Fairfield, CT. They also provide emergent and non-emergent medical transportation service for all of Fairfield County.
The Webster Bank Arena is our host venue. A fabulous location for all of our activities!
Brewport will be hosting a post-race party starting at 10:30 am. Join us for a free beer (21 & over) or soft drink.

Last year over 500 people had a great time in our events. We have the room for many more. With the loss of our title sponsor we need to reach 300 pre-reg to pay our bills and not dip into the Race Director's retirement account!

Best Costume Awards – let's see what you got (within reason- remember this is a family event!). We will have something special for you. Our panel of judges will have the final decision.
FOOD AND FLUIDS*
You can count on Vazzy's for some great food including pizza. There will be the usual bagels & bananas and Aquarion water. We expect to add more as sponsors join us.
Our plan is to bring the beer garden back - permits pending. We are also working on a post party plan at a nearby watering hole.
