Event Description

Run/Walk this 5K with us to Give The Gift of Health! Your participation and donations will help Sankara Healthcare Foundation make healthcare more accessible and affordable to the people in the villages of India. We provide nutritious plant based meals to the homeless in America through our HEAL(Healthy Eating and Living) project. With primary focus on women and children's health we partner with regional Hindu Mission Hospitals as well as the Pammal Sankara Eye Hospitals to provide screening, diagnosis and treatment for cancer, diabetes, eye and cardiac conditions and provide prosthetic devices to help people lead productive lives.

Our goal for 2019 is to raise $75,000 to win an anonymous donor match so we can put our mobile medical unit Wellness On Wheels (WOW) bus on the roads sooner!If you are unable to run/walk please consider making a donation to help us reach our goal!
