The YMCA Families On! Challenge is presented by Delta Airlines
The YMCA Families On! Challenge is a fun, family race specifically designed for all ages and athletic abilities. Family, friends, co-workers, and teammates experience a unique race theme, “Everything You Can’t Do at Home.”
Over the course of an up-to 2.5-mile race, participants tackle more than 12 obstacles that include, throwing paint on walls, jumping over a huge 20-foot green sofa, having a massive food fight and much more. Families sign up for a specific time to start the race throughout the day.
After completing the race, families can spend the day touring the farm and enjoying games, activities and food trucks as part of the Celebration Station.

Information
Race Location: Vollmer Farm (677 NC Hwy 98 E, Bunn, NC 27508).
Course Information: The course is on the fields and roads of Vollmer Farm. Course conditions depend on the weather prior to the event.

Events: Everyone is welcome to participate. All Fit & Able and YMCA events are inclusion events: anyone of any age, skill-level, or ability can participate in any race.
Athletic Trainer: An athletic trainer will be available at a medical tent located near the finish line.
Water Stations: There will be two water stations on the course. Water is also available at the registration and refreshment area. The water stations are marked on the map.
Packet Pick-up: All participants must show a photo ID or be with a guardian with a photo ID in order to pick up their packets and adults may NOT pickup packets for other adults. Packets will be picked up on race day only.
Race Souvenirs: All participants will receive a YMCA Families On! Challenge shirt with registration if signed up by April 12th. Shirts are also available for purchase separately for $10 up to race day. Cotton shirt sizes include: Youth S-L and Adult S-XXXL. Finishers will also receive a YMCA Families On! Challenge medal. Y Guides will receive a special patch.
Registration
Online registration closes on April 27th at 9 PM. Cash, checks, and credit cards are accepted at the venue.
Individual: Shirt included if registered by April 12th
- Until January 15th: $20
- Until April 26th: $40
- On April 27th: $52
Groups (of 4+ People): Opens January 16th. Shirts included if registered by April 12th
- Until April 26th: $25.60 per person
- On April 27th: $42 per person
