Empty Bowls 5K Memorial Day Weekend Fun Run Benefiting Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC

Empty Bowls 5K Run/Walk—a Memorial Day weekend road race benefiting Second Harvest and put on in collaboration with the Winston-Salem Cycling Classic, because hunger is a health issue, just like exercise and physical activity. We know that heart disease, obesity, and diabetes are more prevalent in communities with low food security. Fundraisers like the Empty Bowls 5k Memorial Weekend Fun Run help Second Harvest and our partner network bring the healthiest food and robust nutrition programs to families across Northwest North Carolina.

PLEASE NOTE: If you register on-line after Noon on May 24th, you will need to pick up your bib and t-shirt on Saturday, May 25th beginning at 7:00 AM. If you register on-line before Noon on May 24th, you can pick up your t-shirts and bib at Fleet Feet Sports on Friday, May 24th from 4:00 PM to 7:00PM. You can also register in person at Fleet Feet sports.

ON-LINE REGISTRATION ENDS AT MIDNIGHT ON MAY 24th. In person registration will begin Saturday, May 25th at 7:00 AM outside the Bio Tech at Bailey Park.
