Event Description
Come out for the annual HOLLY SPRINGS MEMORIAL DAY 5K and 1K FUN RUN in beautiful Holly Springs, Georgia!
The race is now an Official AJC Peachtree Road Race Qualifying Event - Certificaiton number #GA19029WC
The race will start at Holly Springs Elementary School (1965 Hickory Road) and run on paved streets in nearby neighborhoods then finish at Barrett Park (120 Park Lane). The park is just down the road and across the street from the elementary school.
After the 5K concludes at the park, join us for awards and refreshments, as well as the 1K Fun Run for runners up to age 12.
Each year, the City chooses to donate race proceeds to a local charity. This year, all proceeds will go to the LR Tippens Educational Center.

Race day registration and packet pickup: Begins at 7AM @ Holly Springs Elementary School
5K: Starts at 8AM at Holly Springs Elementary School
Fun Run: Starts at 9AM at Barrett Park after the 5K awards ceremony
Awards: Awards will be given to the 5K Overall Male and Female, Overall Masters Male and Female and 3 deep in standard 5 year age groups beginning with 10 and Under to 75 and over.
Shirts and Goodies: Shirts are guaranteed to those who register by 5/3/19. Those registering after that date and on race day are not guaranteed a shirt or size and will be given shirts while supplies last. There will be plenty of refreshments.
Timing and Results: Finish line management and results provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com and www.athlinks.com
Series Affiliation: The race is part of the 2019 Black Bag Race Series.
Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on. Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time. If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time. Sorry, no refunds.
