Event Description

Join North GA Running Co. and Mission Outreach Inc. for a July 4th 5k! Kick start your 4th of July festivities with the best race in town!

Come and run free for a wonderful non-profit, Mission Overwatch Inc. This race will bring everyone together to celebrate our freedom! And, what better way to celebrate our freedom than to give to those that have served. Mission Overwatch Inc. goal is to provide goods and services to disabled veterans, senior citizens and injured first responders in our community at absolutely no cost to them. We will ALL gather as ONE and LET FREEDOM RUN!    

Race will start and finish at the Cumming Fairgrounds!

Immediately following the race, you will have many festivities to enjoy! There will be many vendors at the fairgrounds as well as the annual Steam Engine Parade! No better way to start off an eventful 4th! We hope you can join us!

ABOUT THE RACE:
Name: LET FREEDOM RUN 5K & FUN RUN (10 & under) benefiting Mission Overwatch Inc.  

Distance: 5k or Fun Run (1k) 

Date: Thursday, July 4, 2019 (Independence Day)

Location: Cumming Fairgrounds  (235 Castleberry Rd, Cumming, GA 30040)

 SCHEDULE:
Packet Pickup will be Wednesday, July 3rd from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at North GA Running Co.

 Packet Pick-up Race Morning, July 4th,  at race location (Cumming Fairgrounds) starting at 6:45 a.m. 

Race Registration will be available (if not sold out) at North GA Running Co. through July 3rd at 6pm AND then on race morning on July 4th at race location (Cumming Fairgrounds) until 7:45am (You should allow enough time to stand in line to register by 7:45am) 

5k start time at 7:30 a.m. 

Fun Run start time 8:30 a.m. 

   *Fun Runners will receive a medal & t-shirt

Overall masters male/female 

1st, 2nd, 3rd place age group awards. 

 *Rain or shine. Guaranteed shirt and goody bag if registered by Wednesday, June 26th.
