The Savannah Sunburn 10k and Half Marathon 2019
The Savannah Summers are long and hot and the sun burns bright. But thanks to Urgent Care of Sandfly we have found some shad. Running Historic Wormsloe Park. This is going to be the most majestic tree line you have ever seen and will surely be among the most amazing photos you'll get for free. Use this as a motivator to get you to the Rock and Roll Marathon, the bridge run, Tybee, or the Optim Orthopedic Skidaway Island Marathon 2020.
Every Runners will have their State required $10 park fee paid through registration supporting Georgia Parks.

Howard Hand In Hand
The Howard Hand In Hand Support Program at St. Joseph’s/Candler provides support, education, and guidance to children and teens with a family member facing a life threatening disease. This free program will help children cope with and process their thoughts and feelings – often fear, sadness, anger, confusion – about how life has changed for them and their families because of illness or disease. Howard Hand In Hand is open to the children of any patient with a serious illness such as cancer, heart failure, stroke, etc. The program serves children in the Coastal Empire and Low Country of South Carolina. The parent with cancer or other serious illness does not have to receive treatment at St. Joseph’s/Candler.
St. Joseph’s/Candler’s children’s social worker has sessions Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. One-on-one sessions can be scheduled if that fits the child and parent’s needs best. Our social worker is available 24/7 via phone at 912-819-5704.
