Event Description

We're excited to present the 10th Annual Summer Solstice 5K/10K. The course is located at Allatoona Creek Park, which is a flat grass and singletrack dirt trail that winds through pine and oak forests. As far as trail runs go this is one of the fastest you will find. Take a break from the typical road race and run through natural settings of meadows and forest!

Cobb County Parks Department and SORBA West Georgia proudly present the 6th Annual Summer Solstice 3 Hour Mountain Bike Race on the fast flowing trails of Allatoona Creek. This 3-hour endurance event is sure to pose a challenge to both novice and expert cyclist alike. Large open fields give way to forest as the trail converges on Lake Allatoona, providing a picturesque backdrop for what is sure to be one of West Georgia's top cycling events
