Event Description
Join us Sunday, May 3, 2020, for an afternoon 5K and kids' fun run! After the race, celebrate the 20th anniversary of Safe Passage with a family-friendly fiesta and delicious Latin food.
Pre-Registration
FREE T-Shirts for the first 100 registrants, and to those who raise at least $50 in fundraising. Additional shirts will be available for sale at the race.

Adults: $15
Students: $8
Families: $40

Adults: $20 ($25 on race day)

Race awards
Prizes will be awarded for the following categories only:
1st Place overall Female
1st Place overall Male
2nd Place overall Female
2nd Place overall Male
Please note there will NOT be additional categories by age.
Fundraising and Donations
All participants and visitors are encouraged to raise funds to benefit Safe Passage (Camino Seguro) programs in Guatemala City.
For every $100 a participant raises, their name will be entered in a lottery for three prizes with values of $300, $200 and $100.

Who is Safe Passage?
Safe Passage, founded in 1999 by Yarmouth native Hanley Denning, provides comprehensive education, health and enrichment programs to nearly 500 students from 300 families living in the community around the Guatemala City garbage dump—one of the largest open landfills in Central America.
Your donations provide hope, education, and opportunity to our students and their families in the Guatemala City garbage dump community.
