Join Decoding Dyslexia-MO For A Picnic And Awareness Walk

Sponsored by Speech Language Learning Systems

Come join Decoding Dyslexia Missouri, in Saint Louis, as we celebrate dyslexia awareness with our annual Step Up for Dyslexia Walk sponsored by Speech Language Learning Systems. The walk will begin with a picnic and take place in beautiful Queeny Park on Sunday, October 13th, 2019.  After the awareness walk, we will have special guest visits from Louie of the St. Louis Blues and Fred Bird of the St. Louis Cardinals! Various sponsor tables will be set up with information about dyslexia, as well as activities for the kids such as bounce houses, music, face painting, hayrides and The Bubble Bus, plus 2 face painters this year!!! Pack a picnic or get your lunch from a food truck! Please view 2017's video at the bottom of our page.

Decoding Dyslexia Missouri is a grassroots parent-led movement with a three-pronged mission to educate, advocate and legislate on behalf of those with dyslexia. We are focused on linking families to resources, support, and educational interventions for dyslexia. Our goal is to raise dyslexia awareness, empower families to support their children and inform policy-makers on best practices to identify, remediate and support students with dyslexia in Missouri.

With your support, this event will rally families, friends and supporters of DDMO as we work together to achieve our mission and create change for children and adults with dyslexia in our community. All proceeds will directly support DDMO’s mission.
