Event Description
This is the first Half Iron distance triathlon in South Dakota nestled in Custer State Park in the beautiful Black Hills. It will start at Stockade Lake. Along the bike and run you will see countless animals and maybe even some buffalo along the way.
There is 3000$ prize money to be had on this race for the top 3 overall male and female athletes for the Half Distance. THIS IS ONLY FOR THE HALF DISTANCE -

$800 first place overall male and female
$400 second place overall male and female
$300 third place overall male and female

There is also now an Olympic Distance race which the bike is 31.66 miles. So not quite ..but other than that its half of the Half.
