Lucky Kidney Run™

Registration is open for our 2020 Lucky Kidney Run™! The Lucky Kidney Run™ will begin at 10am on Saturday, March 14th, 2020, featuring 6K & 2K courses, in Market Square, downtown Knoxville. The 6k course is an out-and-back down Gay Street, through the Historic 4th & Gill neighborhood. The 2K course is a similar out-and-back down Gay Street, turning down several side streets and circling back to Gay. Awards ceremony to follow at approximately 10:45am.
REGULAR online registration is open through February 28th, 2020, 11:59pm. Registration fee includes 6K or 2K race entry, a locally designed & printed, high-quality shirt and a race packet full of freebies and coupons. Regular registration is $35/person for ages 13+; registration for children 9-12 years old is $20/person and does NOT include a race shirt; registration for children ages 8 and under is FREE and does NOT Include a race shirt. Extra race shirts may be purchased online during registration process, or in person at early packet pickup (while supplies last). Shirt sizes are available in youth and adult sizes.
LATE online registration will increase to $40 for ages 13+, and $25 for ages 9-12, starting March 1st, 2020, at midnight (12:00am). You may also register in person at packet pickup on Friday, March 13th, 2020, at Knox Shamrock Fest in Market Square, 3pm - 8pm. Race Day Registration is available between the hours of 7am - 9am on Saturday, March 14th. Race Day Registration will Close at 9:00am.
Fundraising: Raising funds is not a requirement; however, we do encourage individuals and teams to set a fundraising goal and ask friends and family to help reach that goal. The Lucky Kidney Run™ is a large fund raiser for the East Tennessee Kidney Foundation. Please support our local mission of improving the lives of East Tennesseans suffering from kidney disease; 100% of funds raised stay right here in East Tennessee and help people with whom we work and play and those whom we care for and love.
ETKF asks for your help in making this a strong and successful fund raising event. No donation or fundraising goal is too small! Knox Shamrock Fest™

Knox Shamrock Fest™, presented by Fresenius Kidney Care, spans two days: Friday, March 13th, 2020, 3pm-10pm, and Saturday, March 14th, 2020, 10am-10pm, in Market Square, downtown Knoxville. The Market Square Irish Festival is appropriate for the entire family! We will have festive music, live concerts, inflatable bouce house, slide and an obstacle course, face painting, balloon twisting, midway games, food trucks, vendors and other fun activities for kids of all ages. We will have sodas, water, and for those age 21 years or older, green beer, Guinness, Irish whiskey and wine, will be available for purchase (must show legal identification).
Tickets will be on sale at the festival for children's activities, games and food/snacks; cash and credit cards accepted. Tickets are $1 each or get two tickets FREE when you purchase 12 tickets for $10; midway games, balloon twisting, face painting, and other children's activities will be available for 1 - 4 tickets, depending on the attraction. If you are participating in the Lucky Kidney Run, you may purchase tickets during online registration and pick them up during the Lucky Kidney Run™ early packet pickup on Friday, March 13th, at Knox Shamrock Fest in Market Square, 3pm - 8pm.

Volunteering
Volunteers are needed for both the Lucky Kidney Run™ and the Market Square Irish Festival on both Friday, March 13th and Saturday, March 14th. This is a favorite event of students needing community service hours for Tennessee Promise and school-related requirements. We happily accept groups of volunteers as well as children, as long as they are accompanied by an adult or guardian age 18 years or older. All volunteers receive FREE volunteer shirt.
