Campbell County YMCA FIRECRACKER 5K
Thursday, July 4th at 8:15 a.m.
Preregistration
Feb.1 – April 30: $30 shirt guaranteed
May 1—May 31: $35 shirt guaranteed
June 1—July 3: $40 shirt NOT guaranteed
Day of registration:$50 shirt NOT guaranteed
*Prices do not include taxes and fees.
Packet pickup is July 1st-3rd at the YMCA or on race day starting at 7AM on July the 4th in the Mess Hall.
Awards
Commemorative medals for the first 650 runners to finish! Medals for the top 2 M/F division winners. Trophies and gift cards for the Overall M/F Winner and Runner Up. American flags, glitter, streamers, costumes, etc. will help you win a Patriotic Award!
Al Salvato’s KIDS FUN RUN
Children ages 12 and under are welcome to run the short (under 1 mile) course at 7:40 AM. No registration required but we do ask that you consider donating a pair of children's running shoes as the registration fee. The YMCA will donate the shoes to the Brighton Center in memory of our friend Al Salvato. Al had a love for running and using the sport to mentor our youth and teens. The shoe donation will help the community and carry on Al’s vision for youth development.
RACE AWARDS AND RESULTS
Medals will be presented to the top two runners in each division. Trophies and gift cards presented to the top 2 Overall Male and Female Runners. Gift cards awarded to the runners with the most Festive Patriotic Attire, so get out your red, white and blue!Results will be posted at www.finishspot.com.
DIRECTIONS AND COURSE
DIRECTIONS: Take I-471 to Exit #2 Ft. Thomas/Southgate. Proceed south on U.S. 27 to S. Ft. Thomas
Ave. Turn left on S. Ft. Thomas Ave. Proceed approximately one mile to Tower Park which
will be on your right. Parking is available on the south side of the VA Hospital but
restricted in Tower Park.
COURSE: Race begins in front of Tower Park, proceeds north on Ft. Thomas Ave. to the turnaround
point at Highlands High School and returns to Tower Park, looping around the baseball
field and ending behind the Mess Hall. Splits will be called at mile 1 and 2.

5K RACE DIVISIONS
Male/Female: 15&under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+, Stroller.
