Event Description

Kentucky's Trail Half-Marathon is deep in the heart of the world-famous Red River Gorge! This is not a race for first time runners. You will be challenged and be running on rough trails, beside an amazing Natural Arch, and through several creek crossings. This is one of the most magical places you will ever run, and we look forward to seeing you on Saturday, September 28th, 2019. You will be taken deep into the Daniel Boone National Forest and you will run back out ! This is considered one of the baddest trail races east of the Rockies. You have 5 hours to complete it. The Fastest Trail Runner did it in 1 hour and 48 minutes ! The youngest athlete was 13, the most experience was 67. There are some bad ass trail runners in these Kentucky East Mountains.
