50th Anniversary 

New this year, a 5K option!!

A Historical Run to Commemorate Jonas Cattell's Warning Fort Mercer of Attack. 

Transportation: Bus will leave Red Bank Battlefield at 7:00am to take runners to starting line of the 10 mile run.  Bus transportation will only be provided from Red Bank Battlefield to Haddonfield prior to the 10-mile race. There will be a bag drop at the starting line.

Awards: Presented to male and female winners in all divisions. Additional awards will be presented for achievement in special categories.

Entry Fee: Before October 18th- $20.00, after October 18th- $30.00.  Please make checks payable to: Gloucester County Parks and Recreation.

Courses: The 10-mile run is a point-to-point course from Haddonfield to National Park as run by Jonas Cattell on Oct. 22, 1777.  The 5K course will be an out-and-back course, starting and finishing at the Red Bank Battlefield.

Registration: Upon receipt of your early entry form, before Oct. 18th, first 100 registrants will receive a t-shirt on the day of the race.  Race day registration opens at 7:00am, Oct. 27th. The 10 mile race day registration will take place in Haddonfield.  The 5K race day registration will take place at the Red Bank Battlefield.

Packet Pick-up: Friday, October 25th at James G. Atkinson Park Office from 7:30am-4:00pm and 5:30pm-7:00pm.

Team Challenge: New this year for the 10-mile race, create or join a team and compete together for a great prize.  Team Challenge winner will be determined by the team with the best age-graded score of it's top 5 finishers in the 10-mile race.  Team size is unlimited, but only the top 5 will be used in scoring.  

Saturday, October 26th at The Whitall House at the Red Bank Battlefield from 9am to 12pm we will be serving light breakfast foods (bagels, Danish, coffee etc). This meet and greet is not only for current runners but for runners from past years. We would love to see runners get together and share stories of their running experiences. Family members are also invited to join us.

Some families might want to hang around. From 12-4pm on October 26th there is a fall festival being held at the Red Bank Battlefield. “Kick-off the Halloween season with a spooky tour of the Whitall House! This hauntingly fun event is kid friendly, with fun activities and sites for all!!”

Participants must be able to complete a 15 minute per mile pace for the 10-mile race.
