Event Description

Leave the concrete behind and run thru the mud, over tree roots, on boardwalks crossing over marshes and bogs, past forests and prairies, and raise funds for environmental education at the same time.   Welcome to the Navarino Trail Run / Walk!   This event helps to support a wonderful non-profit that provides educational programs to 4,000 students and over 15,000 adults annually.   

The event is professional timed, and awards are given out in age brackets for the top three male and female in each bracket.   It is a great time, friendly atmosphere, and a great cause.

NEW trail changes and updates due to now hosting high school cross-country events, and timber harvest in 2018.

Event details and schedule

Nature Center doors open at 7 am on Saturday morning for day of registration, and packet pickup.   Refreshments will be available for participants before the run / walk as a lite breakfast.

10K and 5K events start at the 9 am, following national anthem and morning updates.  Children's one mile fun run starts after the last participant from 5K walk has cleared the course (typically around 10:30 am).

Awards are available for top 3 male and female runners in each age bracket.  Awards will be given out once timing crew has made results official, this typically is during the Children's one mile race.

What to wear:  dress for the weather as event goes rain or shine.  Bright colors are nice, or your favorite costume.
