Who needs 'flat and fast'?
There are plenty of those out there. This race is something different that will test your hill skills and challenge your endurance. Both 5K and 15K courses begin at Nordic Mountain Ski Resort in picturesque Mt. Morris winding around woods, fields and lakes. The routes are mostly paved with about 1/4 mile of gravel road and up to 1 mile of grass/wooded trails, a 1/2 mile hill climb to the peak of Mt. Morris followed by a 1/2 mile descent to the finish line at Nordic Mountain Ski Resort. If reaching the peak doesn't take your breath away, the amazing view at the top most certainly will.
The story goes ...the town of Mt. Morris was named in the late 1800's after two men agreed to decide the town's name with a footrace to the top of the hill. The winner was a man named 'Morris'. In honor of the fastest male and female of the 15K race, the town or Mt. Morris will be renamed after them . . . for the day!

Early pick-up & check-in: 6-8pm, Friday, October 11th in Wautoma (location TBD)
Dinner Special: Friday, October 11th at Christianos Restaurant on Main Streetn in Wautoma, a portion of the proceeds will go to support Reach the Peak.
RACE DAY SCHEDULE: Saturday, October 12th at Nordic Mountain Ski Resort
- 8:30am-10am Check-in & Registration
- 9:00am-1 Mile Kids Fun Run starts
- 9:30am-12:30pm - Brat Fry (free to participants), Kids Activities,
- 10:00am-15K Run starts
- 10:15am-5K Run/Walm starts
