Event Description
The beautiful countryside of Stafford and Fauquier counties near historic Fredericksburg provides the ideal site for fun, safe day of community cycling. Secluded woodland roads, ranches and farms form the backdrop for Fredericksburg Cycling Club's 20th Annual Cannonball Century. Choose from 30, 67 or 102 mile routes over flat to rolling terrain. Registration fees include cue sheets, well-stocked rest stops, support vehicles and mechanical support. If you're new to the area, Fredericksburg also has many civil war era attractions, recognizing a pivotal time in our nation's history, so plan for a longer visit.
Event details and schedule
Start/End Location: Curtis Memorial Park, 58 Jesse Curtis Lane, Hartwood, VA. (Northwest of Fredericksburg, Virginia). Time: On-site registration is open from 7:00 - 9:00 a.m. Routes are open from 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Registration: Early registration until August 16, 2019 - $45.00. From August 16 - September 13, 2019 - $55.00. On-site registration on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019, will be available for $65.00. There is no charge for children age 11 and younger when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
A 100% polyester Performance T-shirt is available for pre-registrants for an extra fee of $15.00 ($17.00 for size 2XL, $18.00 for size 3XL, and $19.00 for size 4XL). There may be few T-shirts for sale on the event day.
