Event Description

Start off the triathlon season with the 9th Annual Northern Lights YMCA, Up Northwoods Triathlon/Duathlon!!  This Upper Penninsula triathlon features events for the whole family, and all skill levels.  This triathlon is unique in that it offers Sprint, Olympic, Youth and Team events and a Duathlon for those of you who hate to swim!! The setting for this event starts at beautiful Lake Antoine Park, taking you around the shores of Lake Antoine and into the rolling hills that lie tucked behind it.

Come and enjoy great competition, music, food and fun!!

Event details and schedule

Packet pick up will be Friday, June 28th from 4-7pm at Lake Antoine Park by Bandshell.

The cycling course is a bit hilly and challenging so be prepared for some hills. 

Wet suits can be worn.  But NO snorkels or flippers used for the swim.

The Olympic distance and Duathlon will start at 7:00am CST sharp!  Sprint distance will start at 8:00am CST sharp and the Youth distance will start at 11:30am.  Please arrive early to pick up your timing chips!

Parking is free

There will be a medal ceremony along with music, food and fun for everyone. 

After party will be held at Pine Mountain Resort.  Your registration includes a beverage at the after party.  Pine Mountain Resort will also be our host hotel giving discounts to Triathletes.
