Event Description

On Saturday, April 25, 2020, the 2nd annual RVA Cares 5K will be held to benefit Better2gether RVA, a local nonprofit providing family support services for children with rare and complex medical illnesses. We invite walkers, runners, joggers and rollers (baby strollers and wheelchairs) of all ages to come out and participate. Even if you can't join in the race, come support a great cause and have a good time doing so!

Why are we doing this? Support services abound in Richmond for families of children fighting well-known illnesses like cancer and autism, but currently nothing exists for families of children battling rare and complex illnesses. Better2gether believes that all children -- regardless of their diagnosis -- deserve access to resources and support services. To learn more, go to www.better2getherRVA.org.
