Event Description
The 5th Annual WVU IM for Global Health 5K will once again take place at the Edith Barill Riverfront Park in Star City, WV. It is an out and back flat course along the Mon River and then briefly entering the Core Arboretum utilizing the Mon County Rail Trail. Refreshments will be available pre- and postrace and awards for top finishers. Proceeds from this event will be used for supplies for our residents' projects at our international sites, including Nepal, India, Brazil, Ghana and Guatemala.

Race day/time: July 21, 2019, starts 6:00 pm
Pre-registration bib pick up/same day registration: starts at 4:00 pm
T-shirts guaranteed for first 100 registered!!
Course: Mon County Rail Trail, flat out and back course from Star City Riverfront Park towards Arboretum
Parking: free, street and rail trail lots
Bring confirmation email or ID for bib pick-up and waiver.
Awards for top finishers: M/F in each age group <18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-up, top WVU resident physician, top WVU faculty physician, top team (average time of 5 members)
