Can you score more points than your friends on the second most challenging 5K course in the region?
This course has hills!
One of those hills will not be paved.
The majority of the course is on very runnable paved paths.
Your choose one of several great beers from Dew Point Brewing Company after you finish.
What more could a Happy Hour Runner want?!.
The Can You DEW It! 5K Summer Happy Hour Point Series will be held every teen Thursday evening per month (May - August). You can register per event or for the whole series, but only registered runners earn the free beer at the finish! Proceeds from this event will benefit the Auburn Heights Preserve.
The Breakdown: Series registration (ALL 4) enters you in all 4 races. You get the one-of-a-kind, very cool Can You DEW It! custom hat and you get a free pint of your favorite Dew Point Brewing Co. beer after each race. Per event registrations/day of registrations will get the free beer and any available nosh, but the hat is purchased separately.

Don't do these events because you want some more self-serving stuff to put in your home. Another medal for the hanger, a little age-group plaque to collect dust, a social media post claiming you are somehow better than the other people showing up. You're gonna get a beer, maybe some food, and hopefully a heap of some intrinsic personal satisfaction. Because you showed up, toed the line, and finished. That's it.
However, this is a point series and there will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes (gift card and some other stuff we have lying around in our awards vault) for those point leaders come August. You get points for completing each race and whoever has the most points at the end is the winner, then the next person is 2nd, and the next person is 3rd... There will be some sort of interesting tie-breaker if needed which'll be conjured up at the finish line at the 4th event if that's what it comes to. ***THERE WILL BE A 3-POINT CONSISTENCY BONUS AWARD THIS YEAR FOR ALL RUNNERS THAT COMPLETE ALL 4-EVENTS.
This will be a fun and challenging series! The quality of the beer is unparalleled and surely only the best like-minded short term pain enthusiasts will all be in attendance. We look forward to seeing YOU there!
Day of registration is available for $30 per event. Cash or check only (there's no service deep in Yorklyn so CC is out). You still get a beer with day of reg, but if you want the cool ass hat you gotta fork over 15-bucks.
